Samples have shown that past mass extinctions have happened 250 million and 50 million years ago following a sudden warming, explainable by nothing except the sudden release of methane and other greenhouse gases from the ocean and other stores from global warming of those times. We currently have several gigatonnes of frozen methane that is already bubbling up from thawing tundra, light a match for yourself near that and see what happens. Just don't take a deep breath over the bubbles.
The 'Top' computer models have been revised again and again as they all predicted the disappearance of arctic ice to be decades further then they are happening. Already this summer there is a good chance the thin single year ice left on the North Pole is going to go, making it possible for a ship to sail right to the top of the world for the first time ever in history. Just read the news to see if that happens or not, if you don't believe it, take a flight to Greenland and a boat up there yourself.
There is more money and political advantage in not believing in climate change than believing, as then it justifies pursuing and physically securing by all means the hydrocarbon industry. Its a market where everyone pays for a finite fuel that increases in price as it runs out, the ones with the most investments in that industry can gain from all your payments whether or not the economy does well and they have all the hardware to enforce it whether money means anything or not.
The world's once leading economy is already being slowed down for the choices it made in the energy market. It chose hydrocarbons over renewables, and spent trillions to pursue it the last few years and adding trillions more in debt, when that amount could pay for all that country's electrical needs from solar. So the Green movement could not include slowing economies and by the virtue of the amount of food and water it will free for everyone, it could not include imposing on the rich or poor either.
Your propagation of no global warming allows the slowing of economies and imposing of rich or poor populations by contrast, into any lifestyle they are asked to take as by then it would be too late to physically or economically retaliate.
Nuclear energy is neither renewable nor safe in case you did not notice and the extremely hazardous waste products take longer than anything to ever break down, and require alot more to contain, therefore it has to be buried in containers that are blast proof and can last 100,000 years! Not to mention to the grave consequences of nuclear meltdowns which would endanger anyone or living thing in the path of the wind that blows past the station. In time of water scarcity, a water hungry station in which a single reactor consuming 35-65 million litres of water each day, increases the risk of a meltdown. Then there is the fear of the spent fuel being used for nuclear warheads.
