Doctor Frank,
Although I completely understand your argument that there is currently no consensus within the scientific community regarding the cause of global warming, I think you are overlooking the fact that this campaign is trying to do a good thing.
From what I've seen, it is essentially trying to raise awareness of the harmful impacts of meat consumption on the environment, whilst advocating vegetarianism and sustainable and green practices.
You mention in your post that we should be tackling the real issues, such as "securing abundant & healthy foods to eat", and reducing the health hazard that is pollution and environmental toxins. That is exactly what this campaign is doing!
The evidence supporting vegetarianism is all there, including the impact of raising livestock on the food supply and the environment, as well as the health risks associated with meat consumption.
Whether or not global warming is human-induced or not, adopting a vegetarian diet and a sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living can only be a good thing. I hope that at least you can agree with that.
The way I see it, we should focus more on improving ourselves and the world around us, rather than arguing over what or who caused global warming.
